Grateful

I am grateful for....

1. my volleyball team, who takes care of each other and avoids drama -- they're great girls
2. my job, while sometimes frustrating....I love what I do
3. time spent with my grandmothers
4. fall weather
5. pumpkin scented candles
6. unexpected paychecks...I got a check today for something I was told I wouldn't be paid for! woo hoo!

8. the courage to publicly declare my political affiliations regarding this election
9. my head coach...I enjoy working with him more each season
10. my mom's help in redecorating the 2nd level. Maybe someday soon it'll be clean and I can have a party
11. pens. I know it sounds silly but I am a bit OCD about the pens I use and in my line of work, I'm writing A LOT...and I found these pens that are just glorious. (I find pleasure in the small things!)
12. my kitty, Morgan, who is lovable at the most unexpected times
13. any support you can give...I have given up soda! (liquid satan!)
14. the hope instilled in us by presidential hopeful Barack Obama
15. my department chair, who is supportive, firm and funny -- it is a pleasure working with her
16. old friends...today and always I appreciate them
17. happy apples...you know it's fall when you start seeing happy apples!
18. good books
19. girls nights out...with friends....with mom....doesn't matter!
20. laughter. Chuckles, knee slappers, to a hearty laugh that leads to tears....all is right with the world when you're laughing.
