One of my favorite people, Libbi, did this and I decided to take her challenge and do it too!. It entails making a list of 100 things that were worth doing in your life and reflecting upon them. As another blogger put it, "I hope these events are those that pop up should my life flash before my eyes." Here's my partial list! And, these are definitely in no particular order.
100. Christmas tree chopping with the Bakers the day after Thanksgiving every year for over a decade
99. Buying my own house
98. Adopting Morgan
97. Living on campus @ Maryville
96. Orientation weekends with Moj as an Orientation leader & RA
95. lunch and shopping with my mom and grandma in the summer growing up
94. being chosen as the 2007 Wal-Mart teacher of the year
93. Libbi's wedding -- the only wedding I've been to where I was moved to tears
92. Disney vacations growing up
91. Grandma JoAnn giving me her diamonds on my 18th bday so I could have something that was hers and Grandpa Jack's
90. the day my former principal resigned
89. High school volleyball
88. Visiting Grandma Vic while she was in the hospital, at Rosewood and living at Breeze Park (especially decorating her door so she blew the competition of the water in the door decorating contest!)
87. Watching Mark play h.s. sports
86. coaching my first team ( and every team since then...especially my first boys' team at FZS)
85. teaching.
84. The Minch family name exchange -- going to Old St. Charles with the girls
83. Getting 'lost' in the neighborhood on bikes when we were little....playing the creek....the simple things
82. Having the house where everyone hung out in h.s. -- playing bball and swimming
81. The summer of '94 -- sand vb all day, every day
82. Buying my first car....and then paying it off!
81. Annual night at the casino with Dad's side of the family
80. Late nights, volleyball tournaments, simple moments with Andrew
79. Going through the masters program, student teaching and teaching with one of my best friends, Lisa
78. My first year of teaching and all it entailed: 9/11, losing a student, losing a teacher
77. Working at UMB (now Verizon Wireless Ampitheater)
76. Grandma Joann's fried chicken
75. 'Escaping' from college for a weekend and spending it with Grandma in Troy..
..great dinners, easy company and a lot of love....

Greetings
from a Random Blog Surfer. That's one of the things I do when I'm bored and curious. All the people I'll never meet . . . it's kinda poignant. And I found myself in your cyber-neighborhood and didn't want to leave without at least a wave.
I like your 100 list, I think I'll give it a shot.
I've been through Missouri a couple of times. For some reason I find it a little mysterious, though I don't know why, though I would if I thought about it.
I was touched by your comment about the loss of your friend.
Guess I'll wander on. Keep blogging. I hope life is good to you.
